Bright, Tangy, Zesty
FOR A LIMITED TIME: This sauce is made with habanero peppers grown by students at John Bowne High School!
Similar to salsa verde, this sauce is bright and tangy. The flavor hits quick and so does the heat, so be prepared. The lime cuts the palette quite well, almost too well, but the apple keeps the acridity in check by rounding out the overall flavor. This sauce goes well on tacos, or pork chops. You could even kick your salsa or guacamole into overdrive by mixing in some of it.
Ingredients: Apples, Lime Juice, Apple Cider Vinegar, Onions, Cilantro, Habanero Pepper, Cane Sugar (FT), Sea Salt, Garlic, Citric Acid, Ghost Peppers, Lime Peels
