Made with peppers grown by students at John Bowne High School!
No. 4 Inspired by a Cambodian paste, this sauce adopts some Southeast Asian flavors. The ginger, onion, and garlic flavors blend together creating a wonderful savory profile, the lemongrass brightens the sauce by giving it some “pop”, and the pineapple rounds out the entire sauce with a subtle sweet, tropical feel. This sauce would go great on fried rice, pan fried fish, fish tacos, and pizza (if you’re into that kinda thing).
Ingredients: Cider Vinegar, Pineapple, Lemongrass, Lime Juice, Water, Onion, Agave Syrup*, Cane Sugar*, Ginger, Garlic, Sea Salt, Habanero Pepper, Pepper Flakes (Habanero, Ghost), Spices, Arrowroot
